Bacco Pasticceria

Bacco Pasticceria would never come into my eating list as they only open on weekdays – so if you're not working or studying nearby, it's a little hard to visit.

One of my lovely sister, http://www.beansproutscafe.blogspot.com/, is working at Bacco. She has updated unbelievably exquisite-looking cakes and confections on Facebook, that really makes me to Try Bacco some day.

I had an appoinment at the Immigrations in the morning on weekday, after that I decided to visit Bacco right away :D

It is located at Chifley Plaza where is surrounded by Offices.

I got there around 12.45pm, and first ordered Tuna Salad. It looks plain but fresh, taste nice. Main reason to be here is coffee and dessert though.

As my usual coffee is Flat White, it was sooooo nice. I was told that they use cofffee bean of "Single Origins"


Concorde Chocolate Mousse
I am not a chocolate lover BUT Concorde catches my eye today. It looks Supurb !!!

Incredible Chocolate Mousse interior & Meringue base & outer.

It is so rich, smooth & creamy chocolate mousse I've ever had. Chocolate Merringue is not too sweet ( still sweet but not too sweet compare to other merringue )

But when I have them altogether, it tastes so sweet T_T

Peanut Butter Macaroon

Ja is a " Queen of Macaroon " as it is her first task at Bacco. I have to try one, eventhough I have not much room left after Salad, Coffee and Concorde Cake.

I order Peanut Butter Macaroon, but I dont feel it is peanut butter at all. > <"

I have a good time at Bacco, desserts are amazing, coffee is wonderful, reasonable price, Only thing is open weekday. It is really hard for me to try their sweets that often as I wish.

Will be back whenever free time is available on Weekday.

Cafe Ish @ Surry Hill

I got unexpecting phone call from Tan at 4pm to check where to have dinner. There was no idea of any restuarant coming in my mind as I was extremely busy at work > <"

On the way back home, Cafe ish pop up in my mind as I have been reading reviews and commets of this cafe from many websites and bloggers. That was a good time to try.

We arrived around 6pm ( first table of course ), I ordered just water, Tan ordered Coke. But then waiter advised it was organic coke... Wooo Hooo Organic Coke - -"

I have a try, and couldnt find the differences but Tan has

( I'm not a big fan of Coke though )

Special Salad Silken Tofu with japanese dressing $7.00
It was really small serve, It would be a side dish instead.

Pork Rib with sweet sauce $19.00

Pork was tender and well cooked, but this dish was too sweet for me. I asked waiter whether there was Native pepper pork loin on roasted pumpkin with house made tomato relish ( as I have seen from bloggers ) But they took out of the menu. It was on last year T_T

Soft Shell Crab Omelette $22.00

It was a nice dish, soft shell crab and avocado salsa went well with the omelette. Also piquant relish on top was a good combination in a bite.

I was hearing a lot of good things about Cafe ish, and it is all about their coffee and their brunch. I went for dinner, it was not that impressive as I expected. There was not many choices to choose. Taste was average, not outstanding.

However, I will come back and try their coffee once again.

My Flat White $5.00

We were in the shop at Circular Quay, and sat inside due to weird weather out there, windy & raining.

Coffee was nice though.

Lemon Merringue $7.50

It was unusal for me to order Lemon Merringue Pie as I'm not a kinda sweet tougue. When I took a walk and looked around their sweets and it was only one catch my attendtion !!!

It wasn't that bad at all, I would say that was nice Lemon Merringue ( but I couldnt finish all merringue anyway, still too sweet for me )

Belgian Waffles with Asian sauce & cream $18.00

P'Maam ordered waffles. She said it was fine. Waffle was fluffy inside and crispy on the outside, went well with dark chocolate sauce.

Waffle come with Praline Ice cream

Hot Chocolate ( Dark ) $8.00
There was a cube of dark chocolate in the cup, then a jug of Chocolate. It was a huge serve ( 2 cups )

Overall is great, and good for a Chocolate Lover.

Makoto

Makoto is one of the best Sushi Train in Sydney for me, Delicious, Fresh and Tasty. If anyone of you think differrent, advise me then :D

Restuarant is always packed with customers waiting for Table, go earlier is better as they dont take any booking. If you dont want to wait, Take-away option is good (10% off)

Sushi / Grilled Eel
It is my favourite dish :D

I like having Sushi Train/Bar because I love watching they are cooking, rolling and serving freshly.

Califonia Hand Roll

It is a little pricey if compare to other Sushi Train around city, but it isn't going to stop me going there though.

Caramel Custard

Dessert doesnt hit me at all, It is just Okay.

Not as good as I've thought.

Green Tea Cheese Cake

Actually Tan wants to take his sister to have lunch. He calls me whether I wanna join as Makota is just 5 mins from my building.

My daughter : Oung-Ink

Her name is Oung-Ink, 4.5 years old. She was originally from Yala Province ( South of Thailand ). Her old owner didnt have time to take care of her. Then she is mine after that since. ( Unfortunately I didnt have any photo of her when she was young )

What a Beautiful !!!

I've had her since 5 months of age. Until now it has been 4 years, She is tidy, pretty and always cleans herself whenever she can .... Love you my OungInk

It is my first time having a Blog ( I meant official one ), as I think I am too lazy to update anything in. I've been reading a lot, searching for info about food, restuarants, from bloggers. One day in Summer, we ( our gang Ja, Tan, Ping and I ) have a day trip together, we start off at Kazbah for Brunch, then head to Manly.

There are many ice cream shops around, one of the most popular one is Ben & Jerry.

I love Coffee favour ice cream the most, Whooaa laaa I'm so happy !!!
