One day in Summer, we ( our gang Ja, Tan, Ping and I ) have a day trip together, we start off at Kazbah for Brunch, then head to Manly.
There are many ice cream shops around, one of the most popular one is Ben & Jerry.

Here is what I order " Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz " Coffee Ice Cream with Espresso Bean Chocolatey Chunks

On the left hand, regular size waffle cone ( Ja's one )
Mine is Large size waffle cone

I love Coffee favour ice cream the most, Whooaa laaa I'm so happy !!!

Löwenbräu Keller

Sometimes, you want to try something new !!! So do I.
I have Asian background, most of food are Asian. I like them though, but here is something different and worth to try
" Lowenbrau Keller"

The Löwenbräu Keller is Sydney's most well known, authentic Bavarian restaurant.
I'm not a beer lover and easily get drunk. But Beer here is not too strong at all. You will have to spend a lot if you want to get drunk with thier beer !!!
Home baked Pretzel

I order Sausages with Mashed Potato and Sauerkraut (Marinated Cabbage Cooked with Herbs, Spices and Bacon Speck)
Mashed Potato is the Winner !!!
Tan's dish is Crackling Roast Pork Belly with Löwenbräu Bier Sauce, Sautéed Potatoes & Red Cabbage.

Dessert is Mixed of everything But not good unfortunately T__T

It is not a kinda of Restuarant where I come that often. But agian, good to try something new.

Mamak

Before I visit Mamak, I see such a long queue waiting for the table, especially after 6pm. That really catches my attention. And I talk to myself that I have to try this restaurant one day soonest.

Today here I am, Makmak. I come to the restuarant around12.30am with my flatmates.

Kari ayam $15
Classic chicken curry cooked with freshly ground spices and chunky potatoes. It is pretty normal curry, as I only enjoy with tender chiecken but curry is not that hits me.

Nasi lemak $7.5
We dont order rice but instead we order Nasi lemak accompanied with Penuts, Crispy Anchovies, Hard-Boiled Egg.

Rojak $12
Malaysian-style salad. Topped with a thick spicy peanut sauce. I have this kind of salad since I was young and really easy to find in Thailand and I think it is more delicious than Rojak ( Malaysian version )

Savory Roti $6.00
It could hardly refuse to order Roti here as you can see open kitchen at the front of the restuarant. They made them freshly, and attempt you to try. They comes with 2 different dipping sauces.

Roti is a a bit dry, sauce is just Okay ( as I am Thai, and get use to with strong favour of herbs and spices ). But my flatmates love it though.

Maggi goreng $10.5
A popular mee goreng variation using Maggi noodles. I love this dish the most as it is very tasty, spicy. Yum Yum !!!

Roti pisang $7.5
Roit with Banana, serve with a scoop of Vanilla Ice cream.

The food is fine and very reasonably priced. They dont have an extensive menu. But be sure all good to try.

Passion Flower I

I've been to this Cafe many times, as I am an Ice Cream Lover & I've been trying a lot of ice cream from different brands, but Passion Flower is Ace !!!

Their favours are exotic Asian such as Green Tea, Black Sesame, Sticky Rice, etc...... My top three favours are as above pictures ( Black Sesame, Green Tea and Taro ), whenever I go, I will have to order them.

Here is one of Tan's order which are Sticky Rice, Black Sesame and Lychee&Rose petal. In their menu, there are lot of interesting dessert, Pancakes, Crepes with beautiful decorations of Ice cream, fruits, chocolate.

But I don't like them unfortunately. I like their Ice cream, I would prefer to order just ice cream without topping or anything else. Also I think that is very pricey ( unreasonable price of ice cream with decorations ).
Here below is the price of their Ice Cream ( without topping )
1 Scoop $6
2 Scoops $9
3 Scoops $12
4 Scoops $16
Plus $1 extra each scoop for special favour ><"

I take Tan here as it is first time for him at Passion Flower, He likes it and agrees with me about the price.

Pho Pasteur

I've been going to this resturant for ages since I first came to Australia for study. It is the best Beef Noodle Soup ( Pho ), I've ever had. Whenever my friend or my family come to visit me, I will always take them there !!!
Here again my friend Aon, he came and visited me (20/12/08 - 4/01/09)
He loved it !!!

Look like normal Pho, but taste is outstanding. ( It is only a dish I have here )

In terms of pricing, it is the average for the food in the city. ( A Large bowl of Beef noodle soup $9.00 ) Give it a try !!!

However, the quality of the service & ambience provided drop its value significantly.
